An entire year without a cleaning

I hadn't cleaned my car since last year around this same time. I washed it right before our wedding. I just don't have the energy to do it on a regular basis. This is what a tire looks like after not seeing soap in a year. I tend to let the rain take care of the cleaning for me.

Preparing for the Storm

The Oscar Grant/Johannes Mehserle trial is wrapping up this week and a verdict is expected to come down real soon. Many in my great city of Oakland are anticipating violence in the even that a "not guilty" verdict comes down and Mehserle goes free. I'm hoping that, whatever the verdict is, my fellow Oakland people will remain calm and remember that any damage we do to our city only hurts us.
